A spice for weight loss?

Turmeric, a spice popular in curries and other Middle Eastern dishes, may help you lose weight, suggest scientists from Tufts University. The researchers observed that mice fed a high fat diet that included curcumin, a major component of turmeric, gained less weight than the critters who ate fatty food without curcumin.
