My goal is to walk 10 miles per week.
Thursday, I walked 1 mile.
Friday, I walked 2 miles.
Saturday, 2 miles
Sunday 1 mile
Wednesday, 2 miles
Ok, 8 miles my first week. I'll try harder next week.
No excuses.
Weight training and stretching will be the start of my exercise program. I also walk daily, but not power walking, just a medium-fast pace. Have not biked in over 55 years, but DO have an old balloon-tire bike to use once I get new tires.

Very busy day, stuck to my diet plan, drank lots of water and did alittle over 16000 steps so far today and I have about an hour left before I retire for the night. I felt positive all day and feel good about what I accomplished today. I hope all you spry people had a good day and you have my encouragement for tomorrow. You can do it. barb

Less stressful today, did some household chores, went to visit my daughter who here visiting. My weekend was chaotic and stressed. Last Friday, My Dr. said I have maintained my weight for a year and did not gain any, so that was great. I provided me with the motivation push I needed.
if it wasn't for how cute Louise is i would have never found Spry
Just happened upon this site. I have a variety of activities to keep me moving but I have trouble staying motivated. You know, some days you just want to curl up with a good book! I am hopeful this site will keep me going. I did yoga for 30 minutes and then "Dancing with the Stars" video for another 20 minutes yeasterday, but haven't moved it today. It is gray and raining. I pledge to walk the dog for at least a half hour today!
